Aims and Scope

The journal "Известия Русского географического общества / Bulletin of the Russian Geographical Society" is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to promoting the development of geography in Russia, studying the country's natural environment and resources, rational nature management and regional development, and harmonizing relations between nature and society.

The journal "Известия Русского географического общества / Bulletin of the Russian Geographical Society" covers current and controversial, theoretical and applied issues in modern geography and related sciences. It pays particular attention to articles on major economic issues related to the spatial organization of the economy and regional development, the rational use of natural resources, and the preservation of natural diversity. The journal covers issues of methodology and methods of geographical research and raises issues of geographical education.
